Library Business Connection (LBC)
The LBC is a networking group that provides a forum for local businesses to meet, exchange information,
share resources, and participate in educational presentations on topics such as customer service strategies, time management techniques,
marketing, finance and investment programs, e-commerce, employment regulations, legal issues, and communication skills.
Breakfast meetings are held five times per year.

Women's EXPO
The EXPO, produced annually in conjunction with the L.I. Fund for Women & Girls, provides a showcase and marketplace for
women entrepreneurs on Long Island. In addition to supporting regional economic development among this entrepreneurial sector,
the Expo facilitates networking and increases the business viability and marketing skills of women entrepreneurs through education forums
organized by the Expo Committee.
Meeting Space
The Center provides space for its business and organizational partners to:
- Conduct meetings and training programs
- Deliver on-site services to the public
- Distribute information about programs and resources
In addition to HIA, LISTNET, and Town of Brookhaven 's Industrial Development Agency,
partners include the Community Development Corporation of LI, LI Small Business Assistance Center (LISBAC), Entrepreneurial Assistance
Program at Suffolk County Community College , and the Small Business Development Centers at SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Farmingdale.
